I can't access my Mac Mini without setting up a "remote" session. I can't log into my Mac the same way I do my Windows machines. I can see my Mac Mini in "My Computers" but it refuses to allow me to connect with out an additional "remote control" password.
I set up the permanent password on my Mac Mini the same way I have with Windows Vista/7/8 machines and my two Ubuntu boxes. Everything works great and I can see all my computers (including the Mini) in My Computers but I can't connect to the Mac!!
What have I done wrong? I am not a very strong Mac user but the Windows and Linux setups were so simple I don't understand why the Mac has been so difficult.

Does you mac have an Administrator user currently logged on?
Or no user?
