After upgrading to OS X 10.10.4 (Yosemite, latest) along with Apple Server 4.1.3 (latest, updated for 10.10.4), I'm getting the message

Sign In request failed! The server did not respond. Please try again.

Trying again doesn't help. This happens on both machines (MacBook Pro, Mac Mini).

I am able to connect to the Teamviewer web site and management console just fine from those computers.

Turning off the Firewall didn't help. Router is Apple Time Capsule and is managed by the Mac Mini using Server.

Thoughts?

I'm having the exact same issue  with Yosemite 10.10.4 and Server 4.1.3.  There must be a fix for this soon.... pretty please!

Filed a trouble ticket. After a few emails, it looks like it's an interaction with Xcode server.

Engineering is aware of the problem. No workaround, no schedule for a fix.

Disabled Xcode server, no change -- still broken.

Disabled firewall, n o change -- still broken.

Trouble ticket [#1977139], last reply July 9, 2015

From their July 6, respose...

We got some news from our developers that this is unfortunately a known problem related to Xcode Server in the current version. Our developers are already working on a solution and this will be fixed as soon as possible. We are really sorry about the inconvenience.

similar situation here, also ubuntu and newest TV 9.

sign in request failed, server did not respond.

uninstalled and fall back to TV 7.
worked like a charm.
