Application does not pick up cursor

I am attempting to play a game through TeamViewer, but it does not pick up my cursor. (When selecting "view remote cursor", the cursor stays in the centre of the screen) Is there any way to fix this? The game uses Unity, if that is relevant. The game is running on Windows 8, I am attempting to play from Lubuntu. Both computers are on the same network and everything else I have tried seems to work.
