Teamviewer for Windows / "TeamViewer not running on partner computer."
« Last post by TE5LA on February 17, 2018, 12:07:18 PM »
New installations on my LAN, as I use TeamViewer to access my local server. I just updated to 13 and I get this message when I use the "Connect" button to try and connect to a Windows 2008 R2 Enterprise edition server:

TeamViewer not running on partner computer.

Server is indeed running. It has a green indicator on its TeamViewer window and says "Ready to connect (secure connection)".

This does not happen if I right-click the system in the list of computers and select "Remote control using password". Then it connects instantly.

My partner's QS and my full (free) TV are getting the attached when exiting. I presume it is something to do with the g+ link.
Anyone else getting this ? and is there a fix please ?
Teamviewer for Windows / Host Computer Application Windows Are Being Resized...
« Last post by JoelcYYZ on February 11, 2018, 08:16:29 PM »
I don't know whether this is the right place to post this but here goes...

I am running TV as a host on an Apple MBA.  I am also running Parallels / Windows 10 on that Apple MBA.  I am running TV on a Windows 10 laptop as a remote computer.

When I dial-in from my Windows 10 laptop to my Apple MBA the application windows on the Parallels / Windows 10 side of the Apple MBA are all being resized.  Specifically, the application windows occupy the right half of the Parallels / Windows 10 side of the screen. I never had this problem before noting both version of TV are current (i.e. remote is running 13.0.6447 while the host is also running 13.0.6447).

Would love to get this fixed as having to resize the application windows is a PITA!

You can use this h264 to avi converter to convert the videos. I think the reason for the problem is that the audio codec isn't compatible.

As a workaround, for computer with Windows 10, create the registry key ‚ÄúDisableDuplicationAPI‚ÄĚ as REG_DWORD and assign value 1 under registry entry
Restart of the TeamViewer service (or restart the computer).
