Teamviewer in Win Home Server
« on: June 08, 2011, 09:19:00 PM »
Hi All

I installed Teamviewer in WHS as a system service. Since WHS requires the password to login after restart & when I do a remote reboot, after server starts up, I cannot connect to server. Is there a way to enter windows logon password using Teamviewer? Hope I haven't confused you.

Thanks - Sean

you want to be able to log into windows with teamviewer correct?

Start teamviewer on the remote machine.
Click on extra/ options to get to the control window.
In the left hand column of the windows that opens click on security.
the third item down in the right hand column says windows logon Use the dropdown and make change to "allowed for all users".
in the column on the left choose general, make sure that "start teamviewer with windows is" checked.

Now when you start the machine you should be able to access the windows logon screen from a remote system.
