TeamViewer at work?
« on: March 26, 2013, 07:36:34 AM »
I've been using TV for years now and love the program, I've always found it really reliable and until now never had any issues. The issue I am having now is I can't connect to TV using my android phone on my works WiFi. I can use TV on my work computer without problems, but it just wont connect while over WiFi on my phone.

When I go to sign into my "computers and contacts" it just tells me to check my connection and that it couldn't log on.

I've tried VPN's to get around my works possible firewalls, which made my RealVNC start working, but it had no effect on TV.

Any ideas how to get around this problem? I've tried googling it, but I've found nothing.

Thanks!

If you've already re-installed the application, I would try the following;

I had a similar issue over cellular data; this happens when you have no service. If this happens over wi-fi, it could indicate the remote computer is rejecting the connection; try enabling port triggering (or port forwarding, if you only use Teamviewer on one PC at home) on your router, 5938 TCP on the outgoing side.

could also be that whoever controls the wifi has dis-allowed it
