reversing my controlling position
« on: April 02, 2016, 01:58:56 PM »
I can access my Thinkpad using my tablet (via an android app). Is it possible to do the reverse? Can I view and control my tablet from my TPad? If so, how do you set it up?
TPad is a T61 running Linux Mint 17.3 and the tablet is a Kindle Fire HD

I think that you can only control Android devices using the quick support app

The installation via Google Play appeared successful, but no icon showed (this sometimes happens with my rooted Kindle Fire HD) so I sideloaded the apk and installed it manually. This time it "took" and I am now able to bring up a side-by-side directory and transfer files to and from the Fire to my PC. I will try to attach a screenshot. Thanks Matt!!!
Note: Tried to attach a screenshot but got an error msg.
