Title: Unable to write capital letters - iPad / Linux
Post by: jakobmoss on January 12, 2012, 02:13:36 PM
Hi,

I'm using Teamviewer to let my iPad 2 control my Linux-laptop.

Everything works fine... Except that I can' write capital letters..
I've tried both the iPad-keyboard and a Bluetooth-keyboard, as well as shift and caps-lock, but no matter what, I only get 'a' and not 'A'.

Does anybody else experience this?
And how can it be solved?

Thanks in advance!

Hmmm...no response to this yet.  Well, not only can I not use caps, but I can't use . , @ ! or anything else along those lines.

I'm running into the same problem (no Caps) on one of my two remote linux Ubuntu 10.4 workstations from teamviewer on my iPad....

Yet using teamviewer client on one of my Win7 laptops and I can connect to the problem remote Ubuntu workstation and type caps no problem.  (and yes, a real problem since my password contains CAPS).

Anybody else seen this and come up with a solution?
