TV9 on Fedora 19 no terminal keyboard input
« on: April 30, 2014, 12:54:49 PM »
I installed TV9 on Fedora 19 yesterday.  After using a terminal for 10-15 minutes, my keystrokes no longer would work.  Interestingly, the 'G' key acted like an up-arrow keystroke.  Going to the Linux box itself, I couldn't use the keyboard there in a terminal either!  Mouse clicks work, as does the keyboard outside the terminal.  Closing the terminal session and reopening didn't help either.  I finally tried restarting the GDM service and that fixes the issue.   Now I have a cron job that restarts gdm every 15 minutes - great if I've lost control but sucky if I am in the middle of doing something and gdm restarts!  Any thoughts on why this might be happening?
