"Partner desktop no longer accessible" - Windows login issue
« on: October 21, 2013, 12:10:36 AM »
So, I've used TV8 for about a year without any problems. I've always been able to access my stationary PC from my laptop and iphone, even if the windows session was locked or logged out. I just passed a ctr+alt+del command and was able to login as if I was at the desk.

Now I am suddenly given the message
"Your partner's desktop is no longer accessible.
Probably you used a program that requires additional permissions. Please wait until your partner has granted these permissions".

Since it used to work ,and now just stopped working, I am at a loss. To be clear: It works fine to connect once the partner PC is logged in and has an active session. But if I log off, or the screensaver kicks in, I can no longer access Windows.

I tried googling and searching this forum but couldnt find anyone with the same issue.
Hope someone here has some idea!

OK. I guess I solved it on my own.
Turned out there was a conflict since the administrator password of windows had been changed which caused the TV installation to block access when no session was active.

Repeated the "Set up unsupervised access.." process and now it seems to work.
