Native touch control stopped working
« on: October 26, 2016, 07:25:47 AM »
I installed TV for android on my Samsung tablet and, on the first day, touch control was fine. Since then, however, it does not work.
I have changed the input both in setup and by toggling on screen. Although it shows that touch is selected it stubbornly remains in mouse mode.
I have reinstalled to no avail.
Any suggestions please ?
(I have also created a ticket)

Thank you

Confirming this issue using an HTC Desire 626 on Android 5.1 to my Windows 10 machine. Touch version and cursor icon are not available on Android.

When using an iPad there is a cursor icon at the bottom of the screen that switches between the "touch" and "cursor" methods.

Any suggestions appreciated

I raised a ticket and, subsequently, received the following from support:
What is the display size of the tablet? The touch function is not
available for every tablet - depends on the screen size.
You need a least a tablet with a 6.5 inch display.

This, maybe, is the answer as your mobile has a 5 inch display.
Might be worth raising a ticket though

Thank you for the update.

My HTC device is 5.7 inches diagonal--oh well.

The iPad app works fine, but somehow messes up the native window display resolution parameters that must be reset when directly using the machine. However, that is a complaint for another forum.
