Unable to write capital letters - iPad / Linux
« on: January 12, 2012, 02:13:13 PM »
Hi,

I'm using Teamviewer to let my iPad 2 control my Linux-laptop.

Everything works fine... Except that I can' write capital letters..
I've tried both the iPad-keyboard and a Bluetooth-keyboard, as well as shift and caps-lock, but no matter what, I only get 'a' and not 'A'.

Does anybody else experience this?
And how can it be solved?

Thanks in advance!

PReinie

By any chance does the remote computer have Caps-Lock enabled (either on your controlling computer, or the remote computer's physical keyboard)? If so, lower-case might come out when you send shift-A.

One simple way to tell - if you type 'a', does it show up remotely as 'A'?
