HiDPI support for TeamViewer under Linux

I am running TeamViewer 11 on a Yoga 2 Pro with HiDPI (3200X1800 pixel) screen.  Under Windows that works fine, but under Linux (Lubuntu 16.04 or Mint 17.3/Cinnamon 2.8) the font of the interface is so tiny it is unusable.  I hate to use Windows if I don't have to-- why can't that be fixed?
