Hi all.
Newbie here so be gentle with me. Having an issue with transferring files from windows 7 64bit pc to android on a galaxy s7 edge. I have no trouble at all connecting to and controlling the pc from my phone but i cant transfer files to sd card on ph. I can get transfers to start if i send them to the phones internal memory but they dont finish. And usually they stop with an error saying the teamviewer version on the pc is too old, its teamviewer 11 on the pc. Maybe someone can shed some light on it. Thanks in advance for any help.

Me too. Using teamviewer on my htc10 I navigate to the file I want to transfer on my pc. I select it, then move to a folder on my htc10 sd card. I tap the file icon and choose to copy the file to this location, I see a brief copy progress bar, then poof, nothing. Notification on my pc says the file was transfered, but is not on my phone. I confirmed the drop location is indeed empty using ES File Explorer Pro, and also windows explorer with the phone attached to my pc via usb.

I can transfer from PC to the internal storage without a problem.
But when I want to transfer a file from PC to the SD card, it tells me:
"Error: The file system reported an error.
Additional information: (29) The system cannot write to the specified device"
Apparently Teamviewer does not have authorization to write to the SD card.
My SD card is 64 GB or 128 GB formatted ExFat. (My phone formats it automatically to ExFat as it is more than 32 GB). My Android phone is LG G4 version 6.0.1 Marshmallow.

Hi,
Has anyone found or offered a solution to this issue yet. I have the same problem and I can't find a way to give the TeamViewer app permission to write to the SD Card.
