Not I.

Using the http login is how you access LogMeIn, so perhaps the posted is confused.
LogMeIn doesn't do file transfers by the way

I was not expecting anyone to go to the link. Since this is a TeamViewer forum I assumed that the "tv" or "TV" abbreviation would be self-explanatory.

Anyway, sorry for confusion.

I would like to do file transfer over a web-connected TeamViewer remote access session. The initial login is via the link, http://login.teamviewer.com/Connect. I know I can do file transfer using the direct link from an instance of a local teamviewer application. But I'm wondering if the same is possible over the above-linked web-based remote access session.

that makes sense now, i hadnt used that webconnect prior so i logged in.  it is asking me for a partner ID and password which is fine, but even after i do that and end the session i don't see a manner to log OUT of the web connect.
Edit, it did disconnect when i rebooted my system, i ifnd it odd there is no "manual" disconnect( you can kill the connection to the partner, but "you" stay logged in.

My understanding of http or https browser sessions is that they are terminated upon closing of the browser by the incoming user (i.e., you when you close your browser).

Question remains, can we transfer files over this connection? I'm guessing, "no". Teamviewer TechSupport should be able to provide us with an answer on this. Can we submit questions to them from here?

In a few days I will do some more testing of the following solution:

Transfer FROM local TO the remote machine: Post the desired file to my web site. In a subsequent, remote TV session, open a browser session on the remote machine, and pointing to URL where I posted it.

Transfer TO local FROM the remote machine: Same procedure, in reverse. Probably install Dreamweaver (DW) on the remote machine. Use DW's implementation of FTP to perform the upload, again to a known location on the Web. Download to local machine using DW or web browser.

you cant submit directly, but you can follow the link the quote below:

From: How to submit a support ticket to teamviewer

This board was created centralize support options for the Teamviewer community that uses the free version.

This board has been fortunate enough to have several Teamviewer members join and offer assistance when they can.
Thank you to them.

That said they don't always have time to monitor these boards and offer help, Teamviewer does offer a ticket system for the private user:
You can navigate to this page and submit a ticket
http://www.teamviewer.com/en/help/createticket.aspx
choose "private" category then "next", then fill out the form and submit.

Keep in mind that support questions for the free version may take some time to be answered so please, post your issue in the appropriate board here, you may find one of the community members can answer the issue quickly and add the resolution if received form the support team.
