Title: Blank screen when connecting to PC from Macs

I am having a problem when connecting to a PC from Macs (have tried a couple of different ones, both running different versions of the OS) whereby I just get a blank screen.

I know I can connect to the PC ok because when I connect to it from my iPhone (iOS 7) it works just fine and I can do everything as normal, plus if I connect from other PCs it also works fine.

But I have tried connecting from an iMac (Mac OS X 10.5.8) and also from a MacBook Pro (Mac OS X 10.9) and both of them have the exact same issue - the connection appears to establish perfectly but I get a blank screen, sometimes white, sometimes grey. I've tried doing this while sitting in front of the PC and it looks like the connection has worked because I get all the right messages on both screens, just that it never gets any further than a blank white/grey screen.

Any advice or tips appreciated. Have submitted a ticket and will update here with any progress there.
