Title: can't log into my TV account on just one computer

On a remote machine, connected with TeamViewer, I am suddenly unable to log into my account in the "Computers & Contacts" pane. I was logged in a few hours ago. I may have intentionally signed off to test something out. I type in my e-mail, and my accounts pwd in that pane, and I get "Sign In request failed! The server did not respond. Please try again." I try again and again, and it just doesn't work anymore. On other machines, I can sign in and sign out with no problem.

A related peculiarity is that, on this remote machine, in the "Account" pane, under Preferences, I see that everything is empty and greyed out. That is, I can't even enter my "Display Name", "E-mail" or "New Password". Simply won't let me do it.

Something is buggered on this machine, and I'm at a loss to understand. Ideas? If no ideas, I'll just uninstall and reinstall the whole thing.
