can't log in

I have a Mac Laptop. I log in to my PC work computer every morning from home using Teamviewer. I never have a problem.

I got a co-worker to use Teamviewer. She has a Macbook at home and an iMac at work. She can't connect to the work iMac. Is there protocol to putting the iMac to sleep. Does Teamviewer always have to be running on her work iMac (I think so).
