HP Stream 11.6, Linux Mint 17.2 Cinnamon, Lid Closed issue
« on: October 03, 2015, 12:47:29 PM »
I have an HP Stream 11.6 netbook running the latest teamviewer and latest Linux Mint Cinnamon 17.2.

When I close the lid on the HP Stream I cannot control it.  The menu buttons don't work, I cannot use firefox, but oddly enough I can somewhat control btsync if the HP Stream is already displaying the localhost:8888 menu BEFORE I remote in with teamviewer.  I have already changed all of the power settings to DO NOTHING when the lid is closed.  I also installed dconf editor and set everything I found and still cannot change the behavior.

I even took the netbook apart as far as I thought I could without damaging it looking for the hardware switch to disable it...  No luck.

Also, using vino-server on the HP Stream and UltraVNC viewer on a windows machine results in the exact same behavior.
Also, there is nothing in the BIOS that allows any changes either.

HELP!!!! :o
