Title: Connection from the same subnet

Hi guys,

There are a few questions on how teamviewer works.

1. When Teamviewer started with user logged in,  does it connect to some sort of Teamviewer servers to retrieve the "Computers and Contacts" list? Does a remote desktop connection actually depend on Teamviewer servers?

2. When both clients have IPs from the same subnet (lets say 112.65.x.x and 112.65.x.x, probably the same ISP), does a initiated remote desktop between such machines result in a relatively faster connection?
