TV 7 in Linux cannot be seen by other machines

Hi, This is my first post. I have been using TV for some years with total success. However I have had to reinstall the operating system on my Linux machine,and it downloaded TV 7, so I upgraded the other machines too. It can see my 4 other machines, running Mac and Windows, but they cannot see it. On the Linux machine , after trying to connect, there is an error box saying that there may be something wrong with Wine. I therefore reinstalled Wine, but to no effect. Has anyone else have experience of this? The Windows machine says it is connected, but desktop not visible.
