Hi everyone,
I have TeamViewer set up on two home computers that were recently stolen after a break in. TeamViewer is set up to start automatically when the computer boots and I figure if these people plug in the computers into the Internet and boot up the computer, I could log in, snag the public IP address and from there figure out what service provider they are using and give that info to the police to see who it is registered to, etc.
I will continue to test if the connection is alive, but is there a way to run it automatically or somehow alert me when the connection becomes active?
Thank you so much for you responses!
Chris

I use a partner list, when i am logged in to it, whenever someones on it logs in it shows who is online and who is off. It also tells me when someones logs on when i am logged in.
You need to know the ID and password for each machine.

Thanks for the response. Hadn't used the partner list before. I set up all my TV's and it will be much easier to monitor which ones are and are not active.
Too bad I can't set up a trigger to send an email notification when a certain TV does become active.
Once again, thank you for the reply
I know it's a long shot to try to find these computers this way, but I can't think of any other way to locate them.
