Title: Logging onto a remote computer after a reboot
Post by: bobby7321 on January 13, 2011, 10:04:00 PM
I'm assuming this is easy to get around but I can't seem to figure it out.

I want to be able to log into the machine I just rebooted. It seems that someone needs to log into windows for the teamviewer to start and accept the incoming connection. Any way around this? I went into the options and checked
"Start TeamViewer with Windows" and also
in the security section changed it to
Windows Logon - Allowed for all users

but that doesn't seem to do the trick.

I also read this

But that only told me how to create and login to my partner list, which is great, but the machine still shows offline...

any advice is appreciated. thanks!

Hmmm, how do you reboot?
Do you use the start button on the remote machine and just reboot as you would your normal machine?

If so try this:
On the screen of the remote machine, in the teamviewer tool bar look for  "actions" and click on it,
In the drop down there is a choice of "remote reboot" , click it,
The secondary drop down will offer "log off"  "reboot" and "reboot in safe mode" , obviously, choose "reboot" and see what happens

seems to work fine now. I also hadn't rebooted since changing the settings.

either way, works perfect now. thanks!
