Title: No audio from partner

I cannot receive audio from my partner, although he has gone through all the options that TV offers. I can hear him on SKype so his equipment is OK
I can receive video and chat with him.
He can hear me, see me and chat with me.
My speakers are OK.
Any ideas?

sorry for the late reply. I hope your problem is already solved. If not:
Do you have the latest version of TeamViewer on both sides?
Which OS do you and your partner have (Windows / Mac / Linux)?

Yes on both counts. We both are using Windows 7.

Did you already sent us a ticket about this problem?
Can you please send us the logfiles from both PCs to support@teamviewer.com? We will check this asap.

Yes, two tickets at least a week ago. Un-answered. Don;t remember the ticket numbers.
I'll send the log files as soon as partner returns home.

Finally got the audio working in both directions. Partner was not started audio on his end. He misunderstood his end of this effort. All OK now.Thanks.
A new question: I know that a permanent password can be setup for remote control. However, I do not know how to set it up. Can anybody help?

Hi,
to set up a permant password click on the “Connection“ tab at the top of the TeamViewer window and select “Setup unattended access ...“.

In the first step set a computer name and password for the remote computer. In the second step you can add this remote computer optional to your partner list.

I am running Ubunto 12.04 and have the same problem. I can't hear audio from remote computer.  Since I have a dual boot with windows7, I did test and running windows7 teamviewer client there is sound.  its only the Linux teamviewer that does not have sound support.  This is a bummer since I mostly work remotely with Linux.

Can anyone help?
