Title: 3 weeks connectioning fine - as of 2 days ago no connection

Hi, free user so dont want to waste anyones time. That being said, im in the military and was connecting in my hotel to my personal computer via my non military laptop for 3 weeks straight. All worked fine. As of late saturday night I attempted to connect but it will no longer display.

Worked sysadmin for 10 years so played around a bit, it does appear to connect but the final display screen does not appear, it halts at 'secured session activated'. I ran packet capture software on my 2nd monitor, it does show udp traffic from this laptop to 65.92.x.x address. My log is showing my home computer is on a 72.26.x.x ip address confirmed via dyndns of which i have a account.

I have reinstalled on this side, numerous times, also using older versions of teamviewer, killed the service and deleted all folders, and confirmed nothing obvious in the registry. All reinstalls failed to help. I also to the liberty of trying the program on another shared computer down in the lobby of the hotel. Additionally logged onto the internet via a telus usb internet stick. No connection completed in any case.

I am curious if my account was simply flagged as suspicious or commercial and shut down at the the teamviewer site. I did on a few occasions, possibly before or when teamviewer was running use hotspot shield to access the internet anonymously, this would no doubt have shown a USA server as my location with its ip address connecting to the teamviewer server and pototentially minutes later I reconnecting with a Canadian IP address. Not sure if that may have been the issue but i received no email stating my account was suspended either way.

I did note an dynamic ip address change last week but teamviewer did continue to work till saturday night. I did notice and install a update late saturday for teamviewer but i think the connection issue started before that. Either way, i have no access to the home computer to update that side.

When I log onto my bell dsl account i see a continuous significant increase in bandwidth usage at my home computer so have every reason to beleive it is online and working. The partners list also shows it online.

My guess is I would have to reset my home computer or something to get it to work again which is impossible from here.

any ideas would be appreciated.

Appears a wind shear shot through my home town in Canada. Knocked out the power and reset my computer for me.  Back online again. At least my best IT guess at how it would be fixed was probably true, a simple reset of the host computer.
