I cant figure it out, the Teamviewer Tray icon on a remote machine has a little red exclamation point at the top left.
No sure what that means, TV is the latest version, no update available.
What could cause this?

Hi ERS,
normally the red exclamation point is shown when you do not get a connection to a TeamViewer server.
Can you connect to another PC during this Tray icon is shown?

Hi,

However your connection works, right?

If I understand correctly you see the exclamation mark on the workstation link.
In my screenshot it might be similar to where my yellow exclamation mark is.
If so, just right click the server name, and should see details of why you see an exclamation point.

hope this is the answer, and that I didn't 'wake up' a thread for nothing.

I think what you pointed out is a new feature in late TV8 builds and upwards.
The OP would have been TV6 I'd reckon based on the date of the tread.
I don't think that this is the answer to the original post.
But hey, thanks for posting. It's good to see some new faces here. :)

The Red or yellow exclamation marks indicate issues with the remote pc in my case. Red for severe, ie for me its windows firewall not active. yellow are probably for warnings, ie disk space 10% etc.
I have host 8.0.22298 while the remote has the latest version installed.
Right click as mentioned and you should see the reason.
