Title: Can't set volume of mic/transfer audio when stereo mix is set as Microphone

Asking because according to this forum thread

it works... but when I do it, the volume/mute option is greyed out, and it's not working. My USB microphone works though. (Running Windows 7 x64, CPU: Intel c2d E8400 GFX card: Nvidia GTX 260)
