Title: How stay skip authentication!
Post by: nixhead on November 15, 2011, 09:49:38 PM
I usually need to work on my fellow computer which is off-shore. So I signed up and configured it to start with Windows loggin-on. But after logging-in and making connection to that computer from here it asks me to enter password that displays on other computer's screen.
Can you please help me to skip this as I want to do it fully unattended.
For reference I have displayed the screenshot having that onscreen message.

Create a permanent password for the remote machine:
 extras/options/security/predefined password.

On your local machine, delete the current listing and re-add the remote machine to your partner list, click on "my computers" at the lower right hand side of the teamviewer window.
Click the add partner icon and enter a name the teamviewer ID and the permanent password you created.

Now when you start teamviewer when you click on "my computers", a list( my partners) will appear with that remote machine listed as online, double click it and it will connect without asking you for a password.

Thanks for reply :)
I've to ask you for two more possibilities:
One I want to make it completely silent, I mean even if connection window breaks up then resumes it shouldn't show any pop-up or any indication.

i am not aware enough to know how to accomplish a completely "silent" installation. There ia a thread somewher indicating a method for preventing the popups that occur.  The method of running a script could be modified to do what you  need likely, i just dont know how.
