Title: Teamviewer and Windows Home Server 2011
Post by: Phaetos on November 28, 2011, 05:17:08 PM
For reasons unknown, my work blocks RDP ports incoming and outgoing. So I wanted to install TV6 on my server. That works. I can connect with the connection password I setup. But when it shows me the user logon page, I get this error "You cannot logon because the logon method you are using is not allowed on this computer."  I can't figure out why it won't let me login. I can RDP into the server from within my network. But I get that error when trying to use TV6.

Any suggestions or anyone else run into this problem?

There is an option in TV that is restricting Windows Logon.  Goto Extras/Options/Security, and look at "Rules for connections to this computer". Of course, this change needs to be made on the server (remote).  I bet that currently, "Windows Logon" is set to "Not Allowed".
