It does not work in meetings, neither with Windows Media Player nor a PowerPoint presentation with audio. Why?

Yes, but the problem persists. Have you tested it yourself? Start a meeting, play music in Windows Media Player and join the meeting from another computer. Can you hear the music?

If the PC source uses a digital output of some sorts, I found Teamviewer wouldn't transfer audio as when the digital receiver is turned off windows percieves it as having no audio connection.  I had to enable analog sound on my pc to get it to work.  Also on a side note, I find it annoying they had fast video streaming in the beta but now its license only.  And so it begins, limited "free".  And if they whine and dine about there "servers" getting used for video transfer.   Then at least allow direct connection only for the free editions.
