Title: IP address when connecting Smartphone to "LAN exclusively"
Post by: Pop Tarantula on January 01, 2013, 07:03:30 AM
Windows/Android/WiFi related query.....

Netgear DG934G Router with User-Defined LAN IP configuration as stated below

Apparently, TeamViewer for Android is not 'localised' when connecting over LAN (via WiFi)

IP Lookup of 21.19.16.64 (http://www.speedguide.net/ip/21.19.16.64) returns as DoD Network Information Center

So I get that TeamViewer still 'tunnels' into target devices, even over LAN.. but if Windows can do it 'locally', why doesn't the Andriod app do the same?
& what's with the DoD IP address anyways?
Just sayin..!
