Title: How do I only send input and not any video/audio?
Post by: Pawoo on March 10, 2013, 11:14:16 PM
Kind of a strange question, but I'm wondering if it is possible to only send input data (keyboard + mouse) through Teamviewer. Basically, my host has a monitor and I'm using Teamviewer through LAN, so I feel like it is unnecessary to send video and audio data to my client, since I am only sending input data. Much like how you can uncheck "Computer Sounds" in the Audio/Video tab, I was wondering if it is possible to do the same to the computer screen.

Thanks!

I can't imagine that many people use TV that way

I can't see that this is possible currently.

Not exactly obvious what you mean, Pawoo.

You want to stare at a blank wall, say, and just type characters into the keyboard that Tv sends to a remote computer.  Huh?

Perhaps you could explain what you're after in more detail..?
