Title: Disable lock on disconnect PERMANENTLY
Post by: kb0nly on June 10, 2013, 06:09:02 PM
Since V8 my home computer gets locked whenever i disconnect now, i don't want it doing that... EVER

I know some want that for security, thats fine, but it royally pisses me off.  I have to constantly remember to uncheck that stupid lock on disconnect now before i disconnect, how do i set it so it just never enables???

try unchecking "lock on disconnect" while using teamviewer as an administrator.
When i uncheck it , it stays unchecked( my account is admin)

I feel your pain !!!  Since version 8, I am in exactly the same predicament you are in.  I have to remember EVERY time or I get locked out just like you.  Also, just like you, it's really beginning to piss me off.

I understand that there are those people who want and need this feature, but I am not one of them.   Not implemented like the way it currently is.  It is really becoming a big pain in the ....

To Teamviewer:  Surely this setting can have a checkbox of some kind.  One that allows you to always have it turned on or always have it turned off.  Please look at that option as a solution for the security issue.

How many with the issue have lodged a complaint or submitted a service ticket?
Use the link in my signature if you haven't yet or if its been a while since the last one, persistence can be effective.

I realize this is an old thread,
and maybe another solution was found,
but on TV 8.0.22298, if you Disable Remote Input
(Control Bar > Actions)
the CapLock issue goes away.
