Title: Can't copy all from mac to windows?

I'm teamviewing with my friend and we're trying to copy and paste a document from the mac to windows computer. But when I connect to his mac with my windows 8 desktop, I can't seem to copy everything by pressing ctrl+a and ctrl+c. How do I copy things using a windows computer while teamviewing with a mac?

you could file transfer the document

Or

you could right click from the Windows Machine to get a copy option on the Mac
