Hi guys, I'm kinda ashamed my first post is to ask for help.
So far i've been using TV8 without major issues, however today I found that I can't start TV at all.
This is what happens:
As soon as TV connects it just closes, no warnings, and i can't find any error.
I'm using Ubuntu 12.04, 64 bits.
This is what i have tried so far:
Reinstall. Nope.
Uninstall it and install TV9. Nope
Uninstant and install TV7, does not crash but it doesnt connect either.
Use the tar-gz packages: it doenst crash but cant open an instant meeting. which is the reason why I use TV.
Do the same with version 8, same result
change my graphic drivers, same result
Use E17 and gnome, nope.
Use just one monitor, then two. No change
I ran out of ideas, and I can't find any answer in this forum or the rest of the internets.
My teamviewer daemon is working as it should.
Have you guys find this problem?
Thanks in advance!

first start a ticket with support through the link in my sig.
In the mean time hopefully someone can chime in.

Hi and thanks for answer me!
Ook ticket submitted, let's hope i get some answer.

Well here's an update, i received an email from the official support asking me for a logfile using the commant teamviewer --ziplog and some more data like when the program crashes.
So I answered and in order to try to give the maximum amount of data I also included the link to a video i made showing it crash (http://youtu.be/ah6-a5D436o)
If i have more news Ill be posting it.

Welp, as another update i got an email fromsupport suggesting to try the 32 bit version.
Which did exactly the same, open and close.
At this point i dont thins Ill have a real suggestion to fix this issue, so eventually when i have to change my OS to the next LTS version of ubuntu the problem will solve by itself.
idk

Now they suggested to try the new version 9.
The problem persists, I predict they will suggest to try the 32 bit version.
I believe the support team is as clueless as me, perhaps im just an isolated case and therefore i wont have this issue fixed ever.

Hi,
I've got the same issue, debian6 64, but only tested TV 9. TV closes after few seconds.
Any help?

So far the support was recommendations to completely uninstall and reinstall:
TV8, TV9, Unsupported tar gz in 8 and 9 in 32 and 64 bits.
Nothing works since it seems to be a problem with the daemon (i think when the daemon connects it crashes, i may be wrong tho but the unsupported versions which doesnt have or start de daemon wont crash->they wont start meetings either making it unusable for my particular case).
I just hope they ran out of canned answers and actually try to give some support.
