Title: Can't See the Cursor

Since I've upgraded to Mavericks, I cannot see the cursor (pointer) when I connect.  It is functioning though as I can see things being activated when the invisible pointer moves overtop of it.  Also when I right click on the desktop, the menu appears but again, I can't see the pointer.  This is making the program unusable.  Can anyone help??
