I have sight problems so TeamViewer is really useful when I need to look at other machines especially laptops. This machine uses TeamViewer 8 but will not load the upgrade to 9 so that I can connect to Windows 7 with TeamViewer 9.
Is there a workaround for this please?
-
why doesn't it load? Are you given any error message?
-
Thank you for your reply. The installation starts and then there is an error message:
Package operation failed. The installation or removal of a software package failed.
This is directly from the TeamViewer website. The Ubuntu Software Centre only offers Version 7.

trying downgrading your local machine to version 7 maybe?
Start a ticket with support as well, use the link in my signature.
May want to check and ubuntu forum as well...similar to this thread:

Thank you for your reply.
I usually ask the Ubuntu Forum first but as this was so specific I thought it best to ask here first. I will follow up the link and come back to you if necessary.

I had a similar problem. Did you get yours solved?

I'm afraid I haven't got on with solving this problem, but it needs sorting.
