Title: Win 7 with Teamviewer Host Version 8 login question
Post by: bxdobs on January 13, 2014, 06:23:55 PM
We are licenced for Version 8 so haven't upgraded any of our machines to Teamviewer 9

Trying to get a handle on how the Windows login should work in W7 ... just upgraded some machines from XPPro SP3 to W7 Pro ... the XP Pro machines were normally always on and logged in ... so with TV hosting Ver 8 we would just be presented with the current desktop ... if we rebooted XP, and logged on to the machines they stayed logged in.

With W7 Pro, for some reason if we connect to the host and it isn't logged in W7 it seems to revert to its login screen when we disconnect from the host ... is there something we have set up incorrectly on W7 or is this something new with W7. Either way is there a way to quit out of teamviewer so W7 stays logged in regardless of where the host connection started?

When connected to the remote computer, under

Actions >> Lock Computer there is a setting which will lock (or not) a computer on disconnect
