Title: teamviewer was working for days, then suddenly all PCs show as offline - help?
Post by: mizugori on February 25, 2014, 09:31:07 PM
I have teamviewer on two home PCs. It was working fine but then all of a sudden after a few days I couldn't connect to PC2 but PC1 still worked fine. Then a few days later, I couldn't connect to PC1 or PC2.

I have restarted the computers and the modem and router. Both PCs have internet access and can access the web and each other but for some reason when I sign into teamviewer, it says they are both offline.

What is really crazy is if I open teamviewer on either PC, it says "ready to connect (secure connection)" but when I open the list of my computers on the right they both show as offline...?

Can anyone help me with this?

first thing i would try is to uninstall and reinstall Teamviewer on all the machines and see how the connectivity is then.

Have you got outstanding Windows updates? I Found 2 out of 10 PC's went like this because there were Windows Updates waiting
to be installed. I told the user to install them and reboot and everything came back to normal. I was going to go to the Customer and
reload Teamviewer etc etc, but glad I didn't.

It's worth a try??
