Title: Teamviewer closes randomly

I use Teamviewer to help my family and friends with their computers and recently I updated my computer and installed Teamviewer on it.  Since I updated my computer Teamviewer seems to close randomly.  I am able to re-start Teamviewer and have the other person tell me the password again and get back in, but its a nuisance.  I actually taken to writing down the password it happens so often.  I am hoping someone has a solution to this.

I am running Windows 7, all the windows updates are applied and I try to keep all my software up to date.

it closes randomly on your side or their side?
I would try to un install and reinstall teamviewer and see if the issue remains first.

I closes on my side. I reconnect by restarting teamviewer and and since the other end is still running fine I use the same password.  Happens so frequently that I have taken to writing down the password when helping someone.  Spent a bunch of time with my mother yesterday... she's 88 and recently changed from a PC to a MAC and having issues.  Teamviewer stayed up between 5 and 20 minutes minutes at a time.

I have already uninstalled and re-installed.  I am going to do it again but the do a thorough search for anything left behind and get rid of and teamviewer folders/setting before installing again.  Hopefully that will help

how old is your system? Sometimes the newest versions of TeamViewer do not run as well on older hardware

Should be good... its no the newest but here are the specs

Acer Aspire X3400
Athlon II X2 215 processor
4 GB DDR3
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

ya, that shouldnt cause an issue.
Did you install Teamviewer from an Administrator level account in windows?

Only one account on this machine. I have Admin status.

suggest starting a ticket and posting on their facebook page and see what they can offer. maybe someone else here can add.

Good idea.  I just tested between 2 machines here at home and it happened again.  Time to open a ticket
