When I run teamviewer 9 I can see it running in taskmanager but teamviewer doesn't show up in the system tray or as a window. It was working before. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing but teamviewer is stuck on creating a folder. I've tried to use older versions but they do the same thing. I am running Windows 8.1 Pro x64

This is a service related issue. The TeamViewer service is not started.
- Open Task Manager and make sure all TeamViewer tasks are ended.
- Click Start -> right click on Computer, and click Manage
- Double click on Services and Applications and then click on Services
- Scroll down to and then select TeamViewer (n)* *(n) represents the version of TeamViewer you have installed.
- Check the Service Status which is in the lower half of the window. If it is Stopped, click Start.
- Also, confirm the Startup Type is set to Automatic
- Click OK to close the Properties window and then close the Computer Management window
TeamViewer will now start as normal.
