Title: Accessing home PC from Work
Post by: mikeymike88 on April 22, 2014, 07:44:54 PM
Hi, I am currently trying to access my home PC (Macbook pro) from my work PC and after a few minutes of being connected, the connection drops and I get the "This was a free session sponsored by Teamviewer..." popup. I am not able to sustain a connection for more than a few minutes before it drops again. I submitted a ticket to TV (along with the logs) and they said that it was happening because I was using it for business purposes. I am not using this for work related things at all. I am just trying to access my home PC and it happens to be from my workplace. They seem to want me to pay for the business license even though I am not using this for business purposes at all. Is there any way around this? Or is there a reason why my connection keeps disconnecting?
