Title: files are placed on the Desktop rather than selected folder

TeamViewer seems to do this at random, when I log on to my windows XP computer to perform a file transfer and select a target destination folder and transfer files, those files are transferred to the desktop of the Windows XP computer rather than the directory I selected. can anybody help me get to the bottom of this??

As per your other thread...

This IS NOT official Teamviewer support.
The only respondents here are other users.

I don't use android (at all), but the other versions all have some settings that allow passwords to be remembered.

I use file transfer quite a bit, but I have never seen this.
Is the file transfer logged? a basic log shows on screen live...
