Title: Firewall not active
Post by: greyclear on May 16, 2014, 06:03:29 AM
I have a cooperate account and you would think getting in touch with teamviewer themselves on the phone would help. lol obviously they have no idea either. In our computers/contacts window you will see some computers showing a red triangle symbol that says firewall not active. Of course all of them have a firewall they are protected by symantec endpoint. So what gives?

I'd guess that the Symantec Endpoint isn't set within windows as being 'the firewall', likely that someone has told windows not to bother looking for a firewall instead to stop the 'Action Centre' flags.

Action center reports that endpoint is turned on so it does see it as the firewall. Action notifications are turned off to the user so they can't change them

same problem with Comodo Firewall. Action Center does see the firewall, same message in TeamViewer
