Title: Connecting To Another Local PC Without WAN?
Post by: PeteCress on May 24, 2014, 07:04:29 AM
I have read http://www.teamviewer.com/en/help/40-Can-TeamViewer-be-used-within-a-local-network-LAN-only.aspx

But it does not seem to work for me.   Rebooted the problem PC, but the client device just says "Connecting..." for a minute or so and then gives up.

I'm zeroing in on the words "Full Version".... sounds like possible corporate-speak for "You can't do this with the freebie version".

Am I even close?

If not, some typical mistake I might be making?

Yes it should work in the free version, just not the quick support version.

Did you find the setting?

I found it, but it is not working for me.

Will report back as soon as I figure out what I'm doing wrong.
