Title: Using names instead of numbers?
Post by: Thewolfe on July 26, 2014, 08:24:33 AM
Is there way to use names (aliases) instead of numbers on and iPad? There's no way I can figure out which number IDs go to which computers.

Do you have a computers & contacts list?
Doesn't that show on your iPad?

On my iPad. There is a list of team viewer IDs in number form.

I have computers and contacts at the bottom of my iPad of the team viewer app, but there is a space for the ID which happens to be numbers and dots for the password.

Should I assume that the answer to my question about changing Username numbers to something that I can remember is not possible?

On a computer I set 'aliases' for all of my computers and contacts.

On my iPad, when I log in I get the Alias names, in the groups that I set.
I don't have your issue.

Well, thanks for hang'n in there with me. I figured it out.

On my iPad & iPhone I was signing in directly to the remote computer instead of signing into my TV account. When I did that, all my aliases were there.

Thanks again.
