Although I submitted a direct ticket to support staff,
I'm also writing here just in case anyone managed to fix this bug:
the latest TW (9.0.32669) is installed on a new late-2014 MacMini7,1 running Yosemite.
The problem is the Preferences window will not open, therefore TW can't be customised in general,
not to mention the most important part: I can't assign it to my account - I have a business licence.
I'm wondering if I'm the only one experiencing this issue on Yosemite, or perhaps is't just limited to the new MacMini?
Regards,
PP

I have the exact same problem with the exact same machine. Hoping it gets fixed soon, as I specifically bought this MacMini to be used as a machine solely accessed remotely via TeamViewer.
Curious if its a problem respective to OS 10.10 or the MacMini 7,1. Can any dev's help? Happy to try and troubleshoot with dev guidance to find a fix too.

since my previous post I tried the following just to make sure the incompatibility is exactly with MacMini Late-2014:
I cloned the system of this MacMini to an external drive and booted a Late-2012 MacBook Pro with it.
The Preferences window opens as expected!
So it's definitely an incompatibility with MacMini Late-2014 running OS X 10.10 Yosemite.
Unfortunately 10.9.5 can't be installed on this MacMini. Perhaps 10.9.6 will...
I'm hoping the developers will soon issue an updated version of TeamViewer 9
Please note: there's a beta version of TeamViewer 10 (very buggy and often it has to be started twice, because it crashed immediately),
but it works on Late-2014 MacMini and Preferences window opens.
