Title: How To Chat With Client?

Hello,
Soon, I will be TVing to help my brother with a problem.
Once we are connected, how can I open a chat-style window so that the two of us can type/read messages?

The centre of the top connection bar is an icon that says 'Audio/Video'.
There is a 'chat' option in that drop down...
