Hey there,
when I use my Android Tablet (Note 10.1) or my Android Phone at home in my wifi, everything works great. But I'm facing problems when I try this at school. As soon as the app starts, nothing further is going to happen, beside "activate teamviewer". I don't get an ID.
How could that be? I thought teamviewer just uses the ports 80 and 443, so they can pass firewalls.
anyone has an idea?

Ha, your question became my answer! my phone just can't get an ID under wifi suddenly. After i saw yr post i siwtch to 3g and the ID is back! so weird...

My guess is that the owner of the wifi (school etc) have blocked TeamViewer ports
(And for good reason I'd suspect)

Hello friend,
really thanks for your feedback. well this is possible but not likely... Anyway, is there anyway to get around this, like changing the port? and FYI, i could access to my home computer as usual.
thanks again!

I think it extremely likely.
connection via 3g will allow you to connect to home, because the 3g isn't blocked.
Do you have wi-fi at home? Try a connection from there?
Is there a workaround? No. That's the point.
Admins can and should be able to stop you using Teamviewer from networks that they admin. Teamviewer can be used for nefarious means, particularly in a school environment.
