Title: "unable to sign in. the server did not respond"
Post by: alduins khajiit on February 06, 2015, 10:21:48 AM
I am UNABLE to sign into my TeamViewer account using TeamViewer on ONE computer!!! it WORKS on ALL other computers EXCEPT this one!!! EVERY TIME I TRY to log in, it ALWAYS gives an error message "unable to sign in. the server did not respond"

I verified that my internet IS working on that computer and EVERYTHING ELSE can connect to the internet and from other computers I can send files to the problem computer, I JUST CANNOT SIGN IN!!!

Google DOES NOT recognize this error message and searching it in quotes says "no results for"

how do I fix???

This sounds like a local firewall issue

Try disabling the firewall (both software and hardware) and see if the problem persists

I am having the same issue when I try to login to my account.

On one computer, I have no problem logging in; on the other I am getting the "server did not respond message".

Both computers on same network.

I do not have any firewalls enabled on either computer.

The question has to be asked: how often do you try?
I get this response often - but I've found that it's just a matter of Tv having to get its ducks in a row.
If I can't get a connection, I immediately try again. And again, and again.
Invariably Tv gets itself organised and turns up connecting.
The first failure isn't always the final verdict.
Give it a go.

[..just an expression; attaching ducks-in-a-row photo didn't work]
